They call it a soft lockdown, but we live in a ghost town with masked people who wander around the streets between fear and ignorance.

We have a fort here located at the ridge of our "Teutoburger Wald" looking down to the city beneath. The walking path is a part of one our of long hiking trails , the "Hermann Trail". You can follow it through the forest for 200 km along the hills passing several cities of the region. This place above our city is my favourite vantage point and at times it can be crowded In this case only a young girl sat waiting. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm, ND graded filter

this view is not far from our house and therefore just ideal for a stroll. I often go there when lighting is promising. On this evening it was clear but not too brilliant, so lights were a bit warmer by a slight haze. The two chruches are the landmarks which are showing the limits of the city in the middle ages. The view is from below of the fort which can be seen in my last postng. thank for sharing a moment. Canon 5D MKII with my favourite Elmarit R 60 mm macro

I walked through Shinjuku, Tokyo yesterday after work looking for local colour. Now starting to get used to processing the M9 pictures for colour, and I like the bright, rich look of the files I'm getting. All taken with 35mm Summicron IV. Thanks for looking, Pete
