I managed to get out today for a short walk in the town centre, and sat next to this lady whilst drinking my coffee. She was engrossed in the book and didn't notice me. Taken with my Leica M9 with the 24mm Elmarit f2.8. Gerry

Yesterday I took to the streets of Southampton for my first brief venture for 5 months. This is one of the resulting images. Leica M240 + 35mm Summarit-M f2.5. 1/500 @ f 11 and 250iso. I used a Kodachrome plug-in with Lightroom Classic. Gerry

I spotted this rather distinctive young lady at an open-air fitness event in my city and simply asked if I could take a photograph of her. I just love her unconventional look and individualism which challenges society norms. She said that Rollerblade Derby was the most important thing in her life. We have a fort here located at the ridge of our "Teutoburger Wald" looking down to the city beneath. The walking path is a part of one our of long hiking trails , the "Hermann Trail". You can follow it through the forest for 200 km along the hills passing several cities of the region. This place above our city is my favourite vantage point and at times it can be crowded In this case only a young girl sat waiting. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm, ND graded filter

I did this pictures with a 3000 ws flash, because I didn't have any other flash. So It was very strong and I had to use a lot of ND Filters. But the way the Bowens renders the light is exceptional. This picture was taken with a canon. The camera that I worked with for over 7 years. Then I bought a Leica SL2s. And this camera is such a joy. I am having every day the nice event of hearing the shutter sound! It's very rewarding. thanxs© © Peter Lund
