Nature will get it back? Who will take over - These questions are very present at that location in Duisburg, Industrial Park North. Colours merge, the rusty red with the green, the grey with the blue sky and so forth. Leica Q

The industrial regions of former metal industry now are being kept a integral part s of a new kind of tourism. The sites are there and showing still its power and slowly transfomred into adventure sites. One can climb its parts and we did so on a lovely summerday with a glowing evening light. Leica Q

]Last weekend we did the tour to that atomic reactor Hamm-Uentrop/ North-Rhein-Westfalia which can always be seen from the highway. We planned for a couple of hours for searching a position at the canal. This plant is in the phase of being shut down which will be finished in a further couple of years. We tried to capture the strange situation with thepeaceful landscape, people enjoying their leisure time at the bottom of this uncontrollable doom of the danger of contamination. I'll show these in a further thread. We had a strong mix of aprillic weather with sunshine, rainy strom and peaceful night illumination. My usual combo Canon/Yashica ML 50 mm/1.4 I cannot show here but I did a series with my Olympus EM 5 + Nocticron. All then handheld, because my tripod was occupied wih the heavy gear.

These historic buildings belonged to the Ruhrgebiet Industry. Now it is an industrial landscape park and very attractive for photogrpaphers. The place is in the city of Duisburg, once a stronghold of energy production. Leica Q

I visited a photo and adventure fair. The location was one of those industrial sites once being the heart of the German steel production and mining industry and energy supply. In the ruhr-Gebiet you can find an eldorado for photogrpahers. Her there were many of them exploring the buildings. Many were open accessible and being meant for trying out things. The Leic Q was the camera of the choice for that day and it was sheer fun. Exposure was extremely challenging with a bright overcast sky and the dark contrasty and rusty objects. Two types of jungle
