  1. I will be running a street photography workshop in Southampton (UK) on Saturday 10 September. It will be based in the centre of the city and is suitable for most levels of photographic skill. The cost will be £75 and will include light refreshments, and will be limited to a maximum of 12 people. If you are interested please email me off-list at photos@gwpics.com.     A cool morning along Brunswick St. Leica M (T240) and Lux 50. All comments are welcome.
  3. A young lady poses for her partner to take her photograph against the backdrop of the streets of Barcelona in this image shot with a Leica M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5, and then converted to b&w in Lightroom. Gerry
  4. I decided to try out shooting .dng and b&w .jpeg fine on the M9, and this is the result. Post processing was done in a combination of Lightroom and SilverEfex Pro2. All in all I am pretty happy with the result. Caption: An Asian woman tries to persuade a disabbled woman to take a book about meditation, and then asks for payment for it.   10. I took this girl texting on her cellphone, totally oblivious to the passing crowds. I used the Leica M9 using the Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 and then post processed in LRCC. I hope you like it. Gerry
  11. The German word "Bratwurst" implies a food favourit in Germany. Sausage Barbecue, with Ketchup is a must for many people. I prefer gazing at those hordes munching the stuff on a paper plate along with the delicious "paper roll" slurping the sauce or mayonnaise with t toothpick sorry, not my cup of tea ... Leica Q
  12. Our whole pedestrian zone now more or less has changed into a fast food chain. Bars, cafés, restaurants are full, foodstalls everywhere. Perhaps I should start a series. Leica Q
