  2. It's been pointed out to me that you can access your old images by clicking on the triangle next to your name and clicking 'attachments' - as I result I've been able to locate some old images that I thought were lost forever - thanks Pete (farnz) for pointing this out !! This lead me to thinking that it would be nice if we built a record of previous One Challenges, so that they could be easily accessed by forum members, for fun and historic interest I've begun this tread for the Paris 2006 One Challenge and perhaps we might build separate threads for the other challenges So, if you have images from the Paris 2006, why not post them here..!!

    The Copiest

I took this in the Louvre in Paris in 2002. I have just scanned it to add it to my archive. The camera was certainly the M6 and probably the lens was the 35mm Summicron I had back then. It was taken on Agfa Vista 800 colour film, which I have no rational explanation for now because I can't imagine me ever using it. The grain is pretty big, but through judicious use of LRCC I think I have gotten away with it at this size, or at least I hope so! I do like the result. Gerry

  16. I'm delight to announce the publication of my monograph Metro: Scenes from an Urban Stage by Daylight Books. The hardbound, 8 by 10 inch, 88-page book contains fifty beautifully-printed duotone images of people on metros in fifteen cites on four continents. It includes a foreword by Ed Kashi and an essay by Marlaine Glicksman. I began this long-term project in 2007 in Paris and continued it in fifteen cities on four continents over the next eight years. Line 4 near Les Halles, Paris (2007). Leica M8, Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 For a brief video preview of Metro or to order a signed copy directly from me with free shipping in the USA, see http://stanraucher.com/metro-book/
