Out for a walk with the 007 and 24mm. An OVF may have limitations, but I can see everything but the far corners, and I wear glasses. On the X1D, next to me as I type, I can see about 50% of the EVF from any one position. And it's a TV screen. I suppose I can try attaching a strap to the glasses. Ugh.

Can you make two shots of the same subject. One with the 100 f2 and one with 120 f2.5?

I will try to post something for you in the next several days, as we are a bit concerned with hurricane concerns at the moment.  In one of the threads (this one?) ZHNL best described the subtle differences between the S100 and S120:  the S100 seems to give more blur and the S120 seems to be a bit smoother.  The advantage to the S100 is that it is similar in size to the S70, has f2, and focuses a tad faster. The S120, though, is larger, but the images are so silky smooth, and has the versatility of macro.  The differences between the lenses are subtle.

In the meantime, the first one below is another taken with the S100.

The second and third ones below was taken with the S120.

Here's a quick comparison (with the best model I could find at the moment!)

S100 on top; S120 below.  Handheld and at F2 and F2.5, respectively.

There are essentially only two colors in this photograph: blue and white. Taken with a Leica S007 with the 35mm Zeiss Distagon using the Contax adapter.
