So food photography is not my thing, but felt compelled to photograph them before we ate them.  Tried to light them with a small LED flashlight.

When I am at home I am often torned what i can do with My s and when i have the time i do some food or product photography especially with the quality... but do you see a real difference to 35mm?

If you mean full frame digital... absolutely. Completely different images with the D850 and the S006. The D850 has gone to a new home.😀

I think the short answer is it depends.  I had a Canon 5dsr and I could definitely see a difference there between the two.  However I recently purchased a Panasonic S1R, and at least to my eye,  it is hard to see a difference.  Personally, I think the gap is narrowing.  I can scroll thru the Leica forum looking at the image threads of the M, SL, Q2 and others, and there are lots of examples of images I would have been proud to have taken with any camera.  (There are certainly other factors, such as what size you might be printing, quality of available lenses, or in my case a personal preference for medium format. )

Yes digital. Thats interesting. The D850 seemed a very good camera. but when there is so much different its great...

Not sure if I have posted this image before; I don;t think I have. It's part of a new project I'm calling 'Here Among the Flowers' which is an exploration of the 'anima' and a sort of rehabilitation of the male psyche/challenge to the current received wisdom of 'all men are evil' and smash the patriarchy etc. Anyway, fill your boots fellow men!

There is a link on my website to the full project if you're interested.

Here is one WO stitch 100cron S007. I seldom use this aperture for this. Consider it as an experiment.

Have you seen this project? Related, but different.. I believe it has been shot with Leica S  (This is his website https://www.rjpoole.com/galleries/)

Great shot Jesse, I would like to learn how to photograph fireworks.

Thank you Greg.

Fireworks are variable. Rarely is anything constant; ambient light, fireworks light intensity, etc. Therefore, one needs to constantly adjust for the changes. Modern cameras, like the S, with the ability to capture wide brightest ranges, make it easier. Luck also helps.
