One could be forgiven for thinking this was 6x6 Delta, TMAX etc, such is the gentleness of the highlight shoulder.

The ability of this camera to not blow highlights easily is a game changer in digital FF B&W photography IMO. It's so light, too, that it can be carried with a compact M mount lens easily for hours on a wrist strap. The M10M remains the king of lowlight B&W street photography, though.

Lovely image, and that’s just the sort of (very finely detailed) scene that I can imagine will benefit from the added resolution of the M11M for very large prints.

I wonder if the roll-off is faster than with the previous 50 Summilux-M, sort of like with the 50 Summilux-SL. Have they possibly tightened and raised the sharpness DOF curve, like Peter Karbe had once mentioned with regards to the Summicron SL lenses?
