I had pending a comparison between the phase one files and the S3. The first one corresponds to the Phase with the 80 mm (about 48 mm in ff), and it is a panorama of 3 rows of three images taken with tripod at 1/400th and f9. The second, much wider, is from the S3 (with the 30 mm). The color is more pleasing, but the image lacks focus and has a bit of shake (was taken at f 5.6 and 1/90th). The third image, same lens, but more comparable (1/250th and f 8, has excellent definition, so I would say that with the proper technique the S3 can hold its ground very well. Neither of the images has final edition, only verticals and a few basic adjustments.
