Hi,

converted samyang ? How ? the Samyang tilt/Shift ?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295169803016 Grab it quick! (I already have 3 of them so save me from buying a fourth!!). N.B. This copy has some small blemishes on the front element so that's why it's cheaper than normal. BTW, I don't know the seller; I just appreciate his amazing conversions.

The lens is manual focus - and now non-shifting - but I found it to be 90% as good as the Leica S 24mm (which I subsequently sold). You'll also need the Mamiya - S adapter.

Love your use of the Contax 645 80mm lens, it's one of the lenses I don't have from the C645 lenses. I have all except the 80 and the 350.

Thank you. A friend of mine alerted me to the Contax 645 lenses for the S system some years back. I had a bit of a fiasco with the Leica 120 APO (AF motor replacement, which took forever...only when I showed up in Wetzlar in person things started to move forward), so I decided to get the adapter and buy a couple of 645 lenses. I now have the 55, the 80 and the 140. The 80 really is a painterly lens, I have some examples which are nothing short of visually arresting. After that experience, I never felt the need for the 'normal' 70mm Leica offering. They are real workhorses, those Contax lenses, too (just not weathersealed).

I would love to see those, are they on your website?
