caused by compression

No this is unseen here as a cause of compression. And it was postprocessed rather clumsy in clearing the shadows. Sorry but you can’t do that to the name of even the M10M

The photo of the sheep above was taken Monday in bright winter sunshine, today visibility is very low due to fog.  Both processed in LR.  I'm a Capture 1 user but C1 20 keeps crashing! (C1 crashes with MM V1 files too.  Lots of support cases raised with C1)

From todays dog walk...

You've got it going now. Beautiful work, Gary.

I don't know about forum compression, but I'm seeing a lot of muddy tonal palettes. (Reminds me of the early days of the M240 on LUF.) To see what the M10M can do and for inspiration have a look at David Farkas' video, which contains mainly his shots with this camera.

Not  much time to test the camera this afternoon but I put a file through its paces by adding grain in SilverEffex as I was curious to see the difference with the MM1. I was impressed with the first few images on the play back unlike the original Monochrom's very flat dng's. I was surprised at the clarity of the lcd screen and the quiet shutter. First time with an M10 camera, I really appreciate the brighter OVF. Definitely cannot say that I am disappointed. Thank you Leica Australia for sending my M10M out West, in short time.  M10M 90 APO 3200 ISO 1/750 F4

The "model" moved a little, sorry but it's a cute shot.
