National Museum of the Pacific War. These are of a miniature Japanese submarine captured at Pearl Harbor. For years it sat outside the original Nimitz Museum and was rusting away. It is not well preserved.

National Museum of the Pacific War. This is a well restored Rex float plane used by the Japanese. There were only 89 of them actually produced and used in the war before it ended.

wonderful photos (as always), Louis. Was it an intentional pun or a felicitous slip: "they [the ex-pats] never lose hop"!!!

Thank you so much, my friend.

The Cubans that I have seen or met in Florida are fascinating people. They have been in the US for decades; but most of them didn't even bother learning English. They always hoped to go back to their country "one day"!.... Most of the "original" exiled, or self-exiled, are getting old, and sadly, Cubans even have their own cemetery!... But meanwhile, they don't stop to enjoy life as they can. Music, dance, and drinks are very important parts of their living.... They have it in their DNA!... :)

As for your question, I am afraid my English is not good enough the answer.... ;)

:) My French should only be remotely as good as your English!

The Georgian alphabet, first developed around 400 AD (by a monk, of course), has lovely letters with elegant curves and flourishes.  Here's an example of cursive handwriting attributed to King David IV ("the builder") from about 1100 AD:

And here are some examples of modern letters, little changed from the basic forms of 1000+ years ago:

The Georgian title is just the bottler's name ZEDAZENI, one letter in Georgian for each Roman letter above it.  The smaller word looks like "limonadi"

There's a whole album of these shots up on Flickr at https://www.flickr.com/gp/133969392@N05/V73dSr .
