Just got an invite RSVP email from Leica for an “unveiling” on Jan 13th…they said “What makes a legend?  Anyone else?

Got one too, but in the US not in NYC since Leica Soho is not owned by Leica. Too bad one of their biggest markets here is shut out of the festivities.

I got the same thing and would have to drive 300 miles to Los Angeles.  Think I'll just wait and see what you guys have to say about it.

If that's the case then they're going to have a lot of angry & disappointed people expecting the M11.  Personally, I don't think they would have a special event like this just for an EVF.

Nothing here either, which is odd.  If a Leica event earlier in the year is anything to go by, there would be interest.

Leica would not send out an email to unveil the "New Legend" and just show us an EVF.  That would be the worst marketing move ever by Leica.

I got one from Leica San Francisco/Camera West. The times given were "4 PM - 7 PM PST (tentative)." With that time, I would assume that it would already have been "unveiled" hours before in Germany. And if it isn't the M11, what else is a "legend"?

While I was posting here, the event went to "sold out."
