ERROR!

Sorry for the error that I hope a MOD would remove.

I really hope that the option of deleting our errors would be given to us to make MODs life easier; and us, more in control of our posts.

I second that! I hope the new Forum update coming in the next week will allow this.

I second that! I hope the new Forum update coming in the next week will allow this.

I also hope and wish that like in other LUF photo forums, People, Street, Nature, etc, each post becomes a thread by its own. So, all the comments about a shot and additional and multiple shots shots, would be gathered in the same thread instead of messing up the CL or T/TL threads in which each post is a separate post.

I believe LUF has the potential of becoming a much greater site. :)

That said, once again, thank you Andreas for this wonderful place you are offering us. ;)

Hey Louis, I like your wall photos.  Here is one from the entrance to the Baxter State Park in Maine.  TL2 55-135

Great IQ and colors, Rick. The Walls of Wynwood are too easy to capture. Any tourist with a cellular can make an interesting shot. I really don’t deserve any credit! :)

She was cute, but tiny! I wonder how she could even move, in case of emergency, with one big gun on each side of her waist and all the other stuff hanging from her?  B)

( BTW, this kind of shot with a "black" subject (the uniform) is always a pain in the neck. All the rest become over exposed! )

Lovely picture, Louis. "Blown highlights" can be an artistic expression!

Yes; but I spent quite sometime in PP to make this shot more "presentable" than what  originally it was. I actually like blown highlights, but I thought it didn't work well or this one; more specially, for  a copy I promised  to the subject! I don't think she would understand and like it! :)

I didn't quite succeed for the following shot, so I had to use different filters to make this kind of "salad" that frankly I don't like much, but she seemed liking it!!! :)

Notice the face and the blown forehead!

yes, I can imagine that the subject doesn't find it comfortable to see such "interpretation."

On the Q thread, I have a shot of a skylight stained glass window with the sun streaming down through it and beautiful dark wood staircase winding up to it. It took 6 adjustment layers to pull out both the wood and the stained glass. The amazing thing is that these cameras do capture detail at the extremes, even if they can't be easily processed.

Love seeing your granddaughter!

Thank you . . . she definitely has me wrapped around her fingers. :) (As does my grandson!)
