As the CL photo thread is becoming very busy with lots of chit chats and double postings ( after all, I think it is a good thing the two threads didn't merge; as i see it now; it would have become a disaster! ); today, I decided to take some shots with my old but pretty Leica T and to post in this forum again. I must admit, I was a little confused with the settings as most of my shots were way over exposed. Not long ago, testing my new acquired 55-135, everything looked good; but today, I couldn't understand why with my old Nikkor 50 mm that I have been using without any problem, 90% of my shots were unusable!...

When I returned home at night, Eureka! I found the issue. The blue ring of the Nikkor to TL Novoflex adapter was not set where it should, and therefore, all my shots became almost white!...

Here, just a few that came OK. And so; Leica T with Nikkor 50 mm, f/1.4 AI (MF)

Trying out the 18mm pancake lens on Alfred as he watches for the postman.

He’s an old dog now and most of his handsome tan markings have faded but he still has a keen eye for the comings and goings.

I'm not a great dog lover but I have to say he looks wonderful.  A lot of quiet character in his expression.  And a wonderful photograph as well.

Louis,

Many people photograph store windows, but your shots are always most interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Rick

Thanks very much, Rick. I know that many consider this kind of shots un-interesting or boring. But I often find shapes and colors of store windows quite appealing, and try to give my own version of something that already exists. I am glad it also appealed to you. :)
