Wild turkeys in our yard. Leica M10M, 35 f/1.4 FLE, 1/125, f/2, ISO 400. The M10M with the 35 FLE is definitely not a wildlife setup, but I tried anyway.

Tough not having a macro lens. This was the M10M with the 35 FLE and extreme crop. A very cooperative Yellow Jacket on a mirror.

You are 100% right. Thanks.

Or maybe some extension tubes and your existing lenses + live view.

This was a cactus about 4cm across shot with a 28mm Summicron wide open and three 1cm Novoflex extension tubes. Gets a bit too close for a wasp though.

I reckon a longer lens (50mm) with one 1cm tube (like an OUFRO) should give sufficient working distance and you can crop if you need.

Of these tubes, the most flexible one is the Leica macro adaptor with helicoid. I read Kipon makes them as well.

You need an R adapter M, Visoflex 020 and either the 60 or 100 R Makro.

One of my first test shots with M10M, 60mm Macro Elmarit-R & Macro Adaptor.  Highly recommended!

Had he lived to see its invention George Essex Evans might well have produced an Ode to Bubble Wrap.

You could have manipulated this Found Object just a little and recreated Hokusai’s Great Wave of Kanagawa :D

Wild Turkeys in our yard using Swarovski ATS-80 Spotting Scope at 20X magnification on tripod. The M10M is handheld touching the eyepiece. It is more than a little challenging getting sharp focus. I'm still learning, but this is my best effort to date. M10M, 35 f/1.4 FLE, 1/250, f/11-16, ISO 640.

Wow! Nice job. I am floored. I once tried holding a phone up to a spotting scope, and it worked, but was uggggglllly. This is quite beautiful... good optics throughout, and a steady hand.
