Silver Falls State Park in Oregon is an amazing place.  It was smoky there due to a large forest fire, but the smoke added to the quality of light.  There are 4 waterfalls you can walk behind.  This is one of them:  North Falls

ISO 200, F-8, 1/8 sec.  Tripod

Another falls that you can walk behind.  Lower South Falls.  I think this is my favorite of the 4 falls as it is the most intimate.   It was a pretty dry year so when we were there the falls were running fairly low, but good enough.

You can compress your DNG files using Adobe DNG converter application before importing them into Capture One.

I have just downloaded and installed the latest DNG Converter and it works beautifully for DXO. Thanks very much for that tip. I assume that there's no loss of image quality (I can't see any).

There should be no image quality loss unless you specify lossy compression in the DNG Converter settings.

I chose to put this in the general Q2 Image thread so as to not confuse with the Q2 Monochrome thread. Out in a local park today following a snowstorm and walking with my Q2. I converted this to monochrome in LR. Q2, 1/320, f/5, ISO 100, handheld.

Very nice.  I would probably have pushed the contrast up a bit, but that’s just personal preference.

Nice!  I miss those Colorado winters.  Here in Washington D.C. we got a day of light snow and it disrupted commuter trains on two lines!
