I do a fair amount of converting to B&W but have not posted any.  This one I think turned out fairly nice. Aspen tree trunks by Conway Summit along 395 in California.

ISO 200, F/10, 1/40 sec and post in LR 6 with a dark vignette applied among other things.  Might be a tad too dark, but I liked the mood.

I have just downloaded and installed the latest DNG Converter and it works beautifully for DXO. Thanks very much for that tip. I assume that there's no loss of image quality (I can't see any).

Capture One doesn’t require a DNG converter.  I have been importing images directly from the memory card of the Q2 without issue.

Late to show but oh boy, that is stunning. Exactly my kind of landscape eye-candy!!! Bravo sir.

I love these images that could have been taken anywhere, that don't have a a recognisable landmark.

Best, David

Nice!  I miss those Colorado winters.  Here in Washington D.C. we got a day of light snow and it disrupted commuter trains on two lines!

Here in Belgium, near the coast side, we haven't had snow the last few years.

Used a pastel preset to process this one.  I like it.  I like to experiment with the presets sometimes.
