Huge files! DNGs are about 80+MB and JPGs are 10+MB. So need to come up with a better workflow!

However, it makes cropping possible!

Yes, this is the right camera for Thomas in Blow Up.

That movie completely freaked me out when I saw it as a kid!  Then a couple of years ago, when I was really getting into Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck again, it was cool to watch that scene featuring the Yardbirds.  Long live the great British guitar legends (to include, of course, Steve Howe and Eric Clapton)!!

Read in the other big Q2 thread about lossless compression usibg Adobe plug in or LR “Update Metadata” to take 80MB down to 50MB. It works.

Is there something similar for Capture One?

You can compress your DNG files using Adobe DNG converter application before importing them into Capture One.

Love the ISO 50 option in the new Leica Q2.  This image also is using the Leica Polariser .

You are right. Stunning. I love the colors. Nice bokeh. Sharp. Besides, she’s a cutie and that helps any photographer.

Can’t wait until my Q2 arrives. I sold my Q to a friend with accessories for $2500. I could probably have gotten a little more, but my friend has never had a Leica and now she’ll be an active member of the forum. She’s a terrific photographer so we’ll all enjoy the new member.
