How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

*N.B.:  The word "MACRO" is used in the foregoing because it is the name of the setting that is engraved and painted on the lens.  Anyone who attempts to initiate the 128,761st online debate on what "macro" is;  whether the Kyocera-made lens used here is "really" a Leica lens; or whether the foregoing image is or is not qualified to be posted in this thread, will be politely and permanently ignored.  🙃

I cannot pretend to know what this White-Vented Myna was trying to tell me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation!

Uncropped, I had to take two steps back to fit the critter in the frame . . .
