Abandon the 90AA. No way. I double down and got two of them.

I just have one. But I keep it for his size, light weight, versatility and quality. I tried other brands (Canon and Nikon). I have never been convinced by Canon because of CA anyway. The new  HD PENTAX-D FA* 50mm F1.4 SDM AW thanks to bi-concave front lens must be of the Zeiss Otus' class, but the lens is so big... The Leica-R lenses still are the lenses to get IMHO because of their quality-light weight ratio, even today on digital sensors...😉

It's a way for me to use my lenses as Leica-M way (manual focus) with the advantages of Reflex (vision through the lens). The Pentax K-1 (II) is the only OVF DSLR with (efficient) shake reduction. I do not like EVF cameras, yet... because of EVF inherent characteristics. Also, their sensors are not stunning (banding effects, digital noise) over the Pentax's. Even if there are advantages in some specific cases of course. Not convinced yet anyway, and no needs...

I have two Leica Macro-Elmarit-R 60/2.8... one (R-mount) to combine with macro-adapter (Leitaxed, Pentax-mount)) and one without (Leitaxed, Pentax-mount)...

Ohhh. I did not shoot with Pentax for ages and never tried the 50/1.4.....maybe I should.

Although i have quite a few 50mm focal lens, My preferred 50mm remain the Cron  and the Lux which has a unique rendering complexion.

As for EVF cameras. i had the same reluctance but changed my mind with the Nkon Z 7. Give it a try.

BTW. I enjoy your photography.
