Until some of the movement restrictions are lifted, any critter that gets in front of my camera is fair game!

On Covid-constrained local walk yesterday, I took a 135R f/2.8 II (Mandler) with the 2x APO on the CL, for an effective 400mm. Naturally, it was still too short a kit for the money shot: a blue heron. Heavily cropped. And wasn't quick enough for an osprey with a fish in its talons flying overhead. Today I paid the ultimate price for carrying the wrong camera and lens (M4-P with 50mm) as a bald-headed eagle circled overhead, as if I were his intended victim. The rest of these photos with the same 135 kit. i just love the way Mandlers render.
