Having been to this location with an SL2 yesterday (pictures in the SL2 thread), today I ventured out with the M10 with a Macro-Elmar-M 90.

Today there were three to four people from the National Guard at every junction along East Capito Street right up to the police line closure at 3rd street.  No non-resident vehicles from 6th Street in and no pedestrians after 3rd Street.

My friendly wife said 'Thank you' to the National Guardsmen at every junction and they all smiled and waved a thanks back 😊

I've narrowed my walkabout cameras down to my M10 and my Nikon Df.  In many ways, I can use the M10 for just about anything and everything I've been doing.  One very pleasant change is instead of using all my old editors, I've switched to DxO PhotoLab 4.  This image doesn't even begin to show off what PL4 can do, but even so, I find editing in PL4 much nicer than the various programs I used before.  There's a learning curve, but there are some wonderful people in the DxO forum who take the time to teach people how to get the most out of the editor.

In this case, I've been trying for weeks to get a decent photo of an iguana, and I was able to slowly sneak up on this one, getting quite close actually.  I decided I was more than close enough, and a few seconds later, the iguana scampered off.

Nice to have a camera with such a quiet shutter, and RF focusing on the eye was very easy.

I've got several digital cameras, and the M10 seems to be as good or better than the others, other than for sports or action pictures - or photography with a long lens.  I usually go walking around with just one lens, typically 50mm, just like I grew up with.

Photo from yesterday, on a walkabout with my M10 and 50mm.

I was using DxO PhotoLab 4, and their "film pack" optional add-on.
