Leica M11 Sony Sensor - Doesn’t have the “Leica Look”

How about matching the M11 with vintage Leitz lenses ? Pre-War leitz and early M lenses are full of character

Hector 7.3cm (attached picture) taken with A7S II

Summarex 8.5cm

Summilux 75mm (11810)

Summilux 50mm ver.1 (11113) or ver.2 11114

Summicron 35mm 8 Elements are a few great choices for a different look from modern lenses

after all doesn’t matter which make of sensor, it’s purpose is made to replace film, which sensors manufactures would have failed if it’s sensor product doesn’t stay authentic to register what the back of the last element in lens translate optically to digital pixel data

the lenses may actually have more affect in this case, the modern lenses are actually too clinical at times for Leica fans taste

older lenses react to light quite differently from modern lenses

Fortunately the removal of the troll posts can be done automatically. Trying to make some sense of the thread is by hand…

I would be totally fine with deleting any thread, in its entirety, if initiated by trolling.  Easier on mods and possibly less encouraging of the behavior. The forum surely has enough other content to satisfy, and hardly any threads here are unique.

Agreed. Threads like these add nothing to the forum and serve as a breeding ground for trolls to return under new usernames.
