The classic cars (and motorcycles) shown this year at the Larz Anderson museum are Italian, mostly from the 1980s.  Looking them over again, I am struck by how much they were influenced by American car styles of the previous decade, with extreme length and broad fronts.  Look at this design, which is almost an Edsel, done with better taste:

This in one of only two prototypes ever made by Morbidelli, a successful maker of 250 cc racing bikes. It sports an American style V8 in a Pininfarina body, but with only 848 cc displacement and 32 overhead valves.

Probably around 1000 years old, this Leadwood tree is something pretty remarkable. Only it could talk :)

Very fluffy cloudy day today, was amazed to see the hang-glider at such height over Rotkreuz, and wondered where he took off from. 135mm Apo-Telyt wide open.
