I have used M11 extensively since it was released, and i kept my M10r during those times, just recently sold my M11, not because of faulty firmware or anything, it was rock solid since the beginning, but for my M usage i think M10r fits me as well, and the M11 still generated good price, love its battery and the convenience of usb c charging, but other than that i see no advantage over the other.. and both retains highlights better compared to previous M im shooting less with films though, may be the process since i always develop at home

May be time to compare with factory default RF and see if that thing fell off from your M10 is actually some kind of glass piece that dimmed the patch for other intentions this is getting interesting

I have my m240 safari whose lcd was sapphire, there was a hairline scratch, but i think it is the coating not the glass itself, not too worrying as i applied screen protector and it diminished, however i will add screen protector regardless my TAG heuer whose glass is sapphire too, have scratches over the year though not deep visible at an angle, on the surface

I always store my camera with the batter, and usually after a week without usage, I would just turn on and take few random shots n turn back off, while having a peep how much it has drained one of the thing that bugs me with m10 and the R is indeed, how quick the battery drains even without usage I notice the first week will be at least 10-15% leaving 85% and as time goes by it will decrease much slower, but still... as mentioned above, even the lone battery outside the camera will discharge at abysmal rate I never find in other cameras, like m11. m240 presumably since I never care with this beast before, and m9 as well as hasselblad

Weird though, when first time i shot RF, my stonger eye was left, and adapting to SLR style was no problem for mE, this happened my entire life shooting before mirrorless era, this i mean like sony came to market with its A7 series then i went back with RF, notably M240, somehow i forgot my way through the RF, left eye was still strong but when i started the M10 era, i realised the viewfinder was more comfortable with my right eye which happened to be the weaker side since i never tried that before and had to adjust and adapt to it morale of story, anything leica throws at me, i’d just adapt to it 😂

Lens choice still the same but now the battery is amazing, i wont hesitate to use evf or liveview when needed to use the closer focusing lens

M11 have changed the way i look at sdcard, how meticulous choosing would be and avoiding some others, hence i was stuck with my old sony G uhsII 299mb/s which first was used back in 2018 consistently where proved to be reliable when transported to M11 since early 2022 however sdcard tended to fail at anytime, i pulled the trigger last month and bought sabrent uhsII and been using it since primarily. I could say it was as solid as my sony G uhsII but then i m still running on fw 1.6.1

Blood is pumping but i know i wont get it and hard to get anyway in the 3rd world… may be time for a M digital special edition? Or may be the M6 in black paint like mentioned above since recently they released one and usually leica have spares around the warehouse and sell it for limited run

Yep inline with what i experienced with my M2 like i almost sandblast the whole frame to make it even my late MP has a perfect rectangle or squerish form, not with my M6 TTL, just different may be more like the OP’s
