A rare outing with the 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R (and TL2) . . . 

 

The 180 APO+1.4X combination is only a bit shorter, but much lighter and in fact eclipses the performance of the 280 on crop sensor; so the 280 seldom gets any use these days.

Another with the TL2 and 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R . . . probably the last time out for this lens, as it seems to need a full-frame body in order to produce its uniqueness.

Beautiful.  A little to much yellow in that green background perhaps?

Vikas, this was after I adjusted WB! 

 

The background leaves were yellow-green in direct midday sunlight, but the 280 tends to render everything with a slightly greenish-yellow cast compared to other R glass.  So I guess the photo got a double dose!
