Your most used lens?

Recently there was a topic on 'favourite' lens and I said that I didn't really have a favourite. But thinking about it, I do have one lens which is my most used, 'default' lens and in my case it is the 35mm pre-FLE Summilux which despite the criticisms of focus shift you may read, has served me well for the last decade or so. It probably accounts for at least 80% of the images I take on my M cameras.

What M lens do others find they use most?

A '74 (v2) 35mm Summilux.

[M11 for me]

My "always on" lens is the 28mm Summicron. And with the M11 and its cropping possibilities I love it even more. As the M11 can crop 1,3x or 1,8x I have the angle of view of a 35mm and a 50mm at the same time.

Same here: 80 to 90 % with 35 FLE. Focus shift is nectlectable imO.

35mm APO.  I was lucky enough to get one and I've hardly used a different lens since.  Even my 50mm APO has become almost redundant.

it used to be my 35 cron, these days i use the 18SE alot, mostly for IR and timelapse work.

for street photography the 21 lux is becoming my preferred lens as of late

It has long been a 35 or 28.  These days a 35 APO (first and most used) followed by a 28 'lux.

It depends what I'm doing and my mood.

In recent years mostly it would the the Thambar, if that can be considered as an M lens? Otherwise the 28mm Summaron-M.

Currently it's equally split between the 28 Cron and 35 Ultron II. A close second is the 50 Lux ASPH.

Most used 50mm too (50/2.8, 50/2 v4, 50/1.4 asph) but as i get older i use more and more the Macro-Elmar 90/4 with or without goggles.

But as for today as I was buying for SEM, I ended up buying 50 'lux, let's see if it takes place from 'cron. 🤦🏼

Over the last 30 years 35lux, now more the 28cron in combination with the apo50 when traveling. If not Apo35M if only one lens is in the bag

Since early spring this year my most used lens has been a 50/50 split between a Canon LTM 50/1.9 Serenar and a 50/2 Zeiss ZM. With summer in full swing my 35 lenses are creeping up to overtake the 50s...and then there's that new 28/5.6 I really need to give a workout to.
