  1. Acutance is another name for micro contrast whereas what you call contrast is macro contrast i guess, right? From this viewpoint, i found more acutance out of 28/2 v1 & v2 or 28/2.8 asph v1 (no experienve with v2) than out of 50/2 v4 or v5 personally. This is at least partly a subjective point of view though and you might be perfectly happy with 28/2 or 28/2.8 asph that are my favorite 28 anyway. I just prefer matching them with lenses having more apparent (to me) acutance like 50/2 apo, 50/1.4 asph or even the latest 50/2.8 personally. YMMV.

    M10 Thumbs up + EVF

An el cheapo research might help ๐Ÿ˜‰ https://picclick.fr/Thumbie-grip-for-Leica-M10-and-M240-292689362374.html https://www.ebay.fr/usr/steve250gto?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

    ISO auto

I have no M10 but all my digicams allow for that, including my M240 and digital CL. It is called "Maximum exposure time" in the M240 and "Min. Shutter Speed" in the CL so i guess you should retrieve the same words in the M10 instructions manual.

    21 SEM: loose aperture ring?

My 21/3.4 SEM's clickiness (is that english?) could be better as well. Same for my 35/1.4 FLE and 28/2 v2, among others, but some lenses like my 35/2 asph, 50/1.4 asph and 28/2.8 asph, let alone most if not all my pre-asph lenses, are more clicky. I would not worry too much about that unless you feel that your aperture ring is too loose in which case your lens needs probably some minor adjustment.

    M10 M-D

The R-D1's is even shorter. Enough to cock the shutter but useless for a dummy the M-D's is not according to my crystal ball. The latter may have some haze though.
  6. Never seen such a lack of sharpness so far. Most of my CL pics are taken in silent mode but i have a "shutter" profile for indoor photography and moving subjects if needed. FWIW.
  7. Elmarit-M 28/2.8 v3 (11804) or v4 (11809), the better being the latter.

So no thumb support in LV mode really?

    M10 M-D

We've been using advance levers as thumb supports for decades. My favorites were the M3 double stroke and the R-D1 in the digital realm. Reason why i suspect the new M-D will have a double stroke or a short single stroke a-la R-D1, but i may be wrong as often...
  10. You will find a lot of explanations on the web. Here for instance: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/56291766
  11. It is the case only in some special circumstances in my own experience with the CL and other digital cameras. Typically under some non-tungsten artificial light, also on some moving subjects i've been told. But mechanical shutter producing "far better images", i've seen that only in flash photography because it needs a mechanical shutter to work so far.
  12. "Judging by impressions rather than reasons" Tocqueville would have said. If this is the new world i prefer Pico's... which happens to be mine in a couple of years i guess. ๐Ÿ˜‰

All this could be done through the EVF i guess. The latter can be used the same way as the screen on current bodies.

Nokishita camera got them from leaked images i guess. https://www.nokishita-camera.com/2018/10/m10-d.html
