M11 for me

Jedenfalls zeigst du viele phantastische Bilder auf der Webseite des Gymnasiums Muttenz. Da kannst du nur stolz sein. Und wieder einmal zeigt es sich, wie toll die heutige Jugend in der Lage ist, Grossartiges zu leisten und konzentriert dran zu bleiben. Es gibt viel Gründe dafür, dass wir uns auf die Zukunft freuen sollten.

Eigentlich könnte man über die Sprache Sachverhalte sehr präzise ausdrücken. So salopp wie dieser Satz hier aber daher kommt, ist die Aussage kaum ernst zu nehmen.

Das würde ja bedeuten, dass nach jeder Formattierung der Karte (das Ikon auf dem Übersichtsmenu) die Profile wieder weg-formattiert wären. Die Profile kannst du auf die SD-Karte schreiben, wenn du sie exportieren möchtest (zu deren Sicherstellung). Aber du bist ja schon selber draufgekommen . . .

Thank you very much for your initiative. I remember very well last year in the Royal Indian Palce. It was a very pleasant evening. This year after lots of back and forth we decided to be in the mountains that week. But its great to learn that this Fasnacht reunion get sort of a new tradition. I will then plan to be in Basel in 2025 again. I whish you all a great evening.

Das ist wahrscheinlich auch ein Mythos. Ich weiss allerdings nicht, auf was du genau zielst. Sicher macht Leica vieles extrem gut, sonst wäre ich ja nicht bei diesem Hersteller gelandet. Oft wird gesagt, dass "alle" anderen Hersteller nur Plasik verbauen. Nun ist es in der Praxis so, dass gegen Kunststoff wenig einzuwenden ist. Eine Kunststoff Canon R5 kommt extrem robust daher und in Summe habe ich mit Canon mindestens 100'000 Bilder gemacht ohne Probleme. Ein einziges Mal hatte ich ein 70-200 Zoom im Service (also nie einen Body). Und elektronische Canon 5er habe ich seit ca 2008, also auch schon über 15 Jahre. Und die mechanische Film Kamera A-1 von Ender der 70er-Jahre habe ich immer noch und sie funktioniert auch immer noch. PS: Auch war bisher keine meiner Leica Kameras je im Service. Also auch da bin ich rundum zufrieden. Ich rede da von M10, M11, Q2 und Q3. Leica ist meine Immerdabei.

Das war aber noch nie so: Canon hat den CPS (Canon Professional Service). Je nach Equipment das ein Canon-Kunde hat, ist er/sie eingeteilt in Silber, Gold oder Platin und bekommt einen entsprechenden Service-Level. Das erwartet wohl niemand von Leica.

Just my 2 cents: The Summaron is such a beautiful lens that should be used without any protection filter that just will make that lens ugly. And to be sincere: How many lenses did you scratch in the past? Maybe a finger print from time to time.

I do not really believe in this as since the beginning there were recommendations on which card to use. And we still talk about problems. Its most probably a very tricky combination of different settings.

You have UHS1 cards among your cards as well. I do too without any problems. The M11 issues must be very complex and hidden somewhere in the software otherwise it would have been resolved a long time ago. I always wonder why not all useres of the 11 model face the identic problems. I am happy to belong to the group of users that is free of any problems. I got my M11 within 2 weeks after its launch.
