Wie willst du denn den Polfilter drehen, wenn darüber die Sonnenblende sitzt? Ich denke, dass du enrweder das Leica Produkt nimmst, bei dem du den Filter sogar vor den Messsucher drehen kannst (was ja wirklich nützlich odrr sogar ein Muss ist) oder aber du nimmst einen anderen Polfilter (zB den, den du eben gekauft hast) und du verzichtest dann auf die Sonnenblende.

I agree with you and understand that you are upset. But would you not wait for the answer of Leica as you wrote that the dealer was contacting Leica. If you are right with your complaint then there is no doubt that Leica will exchange it. If it were me I would proceed as follows: I would send that part back immediately as it does not work properly. Its not about wether or not the dealer wants to take it back. As you describe your issue that part is not right. You get no satisfaction here in the forum. This is not a question to be discussed. It either works or it does not. And you can use your warranty.

Did the dealer give you another one in the shop just to try out if they are all the same? Its indeed a problem when the buttons do not work properly.

Nur eine Nachfrage: Sofern dein Hauptgrund für einen neuen Deckel der sein sollte, dass das Original schlecht hält, dann gibt es für dich vielleicht noch als weitere Alternative den Q3 Deckel. Die Objektive Q2 und Q3 sind ja gleich. Der Q3 Deckel ist aber verbessert worden. Er ist tiefer und hält damit viel besser. Nur so als Idee.

Just understand that when I hear "Overgaard" I just think of crocodile leather bags and I wonder why people have any connection to that kind of things. Dieser Zusammenhang ist nicht korrekt. Wenn du 2 Bilder von den unterschiedlich auflösenden Sensoren vergleichst, solltest du sie genau gleich stark vergrössern (cm Länge und cm Breite, dann ist deine Aussage nicht richtig. Wäre deine Aussage korrekt, würde niemand 100MPix Kameras kaufen. Wenn du einzelne Pixel vergleichst (grosse oder kleine), dann ist deine Aussage korrekt. Allerdings ist diese Betrachtung beim Vegleich gleicher Sensorgrössen in der Praxis nicht von Bedeutung.

I just wonder: What was your initial motivation to by that lens hood at all. What emotions were behind that? Any professional/lovical thoughts or just your ego wanting your camera look even flashier when walking through town? Were there primitive human needs to meet.

No. Just take out the SD card furst and copy it to your PC/Mac, Then put it back into your camera and firmat it in camera. Then copy your files from the internal memory to the SD card. Then it works. That is a "problem" from the very beginning. Maybe its not a problem, just a "know hiw to do". I hope that I understood you correctly.

No its not not normal at all. But its well known. Unfortunately you started your researched too late. My point just was that eventually you will get your overpaid stuff. We never read here that it does not work at all. @Overgaard why do you let that happen? Threads over threads with the same story. Why do you not just close your shop rather than generating an army of unsatisfied customers.

@Strokerpete Gratulation zu deiner Q3. Sie ist tatsächlich eine ganz tolle Kamera. Und auch der Autofokus ist im Einsatzgebiet der Q3 sehr gut. Und du hast ja eine Z9 und kennst damit den Unterschied. Zusammen mit deinen "Zutaten" ist sie eine der schönsten Kameras, die es gibt. Und auch die Cropmöglichkeiten des 60MPix Sensors gibt es nirgends sonst. Und schlussendlich ist mehr als klar, dass das Rauschen in der Praxis schon längst kein Thema mehr ist.
