Performing the house walkabout trying to get a feel for the 35-70 f4. Currently attached to the SL, and hopefully plenty of pictures to come on the R6.2. This one would've done much better on a tripod with the available light, but I am trying to get used to the non-IBIS/OIS life. Also I was being lazy.

This is gorgeous!  I find at my age that I really appreciate the IBIS offered by my Panasonic... and I miss it in the old film bodies!  We shall, however, soldier on!  And boy do I get the "lazy" thing...  that tends to be the biggest deterrent to MY use of a tripod as well.   Well done!!!

@hepcat Thank you! I sold my Panasonic body earlier this year and I regret it. Have been on the lookout for replacements already. At least with the SL I can take a bunch of shots handheld and just go with the sharpest one. It's a little higher consequence with the film bodies :)

I've thought about picking up an SL as a backup for my S1...  but I bought the S1 FOR the IBIS...  I'm having a tough time bringing myself to move backwards.  And I just can't bring myself to shell out the asking prices for an SL2.  I just can't do it.  I'm just too "frugal." 🤣
