Thought I'd introduce myself with a few images. I got turned on to the simplicity of a single lens when I bought a Fuji X100S to take to Vietnam. I was tired of lugging around DSLR gear. I eventually transitioned to the Fuji XT-2, then XT-3, but I missed the simplicity and thoughtfullness of a fixed lens camera, so I bought a Q. It has been a constant companion in the mountains.

The Q does a fine job with long exposure.

A spot close to me called Red Rock Canyon has a small section of rock wall that has been fascinating me recently. I have been waiting for a good dusting of snow to create some nice contrast with the red rock and sand, but it keeps melting off before I get off work:)

A fine way to spend a Sunday (besides freezing my cajones off waiting for the sunset🥶).

Fascinating image. Really made me linger. Still trying to work out exactly what I’m seeing.

Thanks.  What you are seeing are reflections on the mirror polished stainless steel surface of the bean shaped sculpture known more commonly as "The Bean".

It's fun to photograph from different angles up close for these fun-house images.  One can never get a shot without crowds of people in and around it.
