wlaidlaw Posted November 15, 2021 Share #16403 Posted November 15, 2021 I suspect the Veteran might be a De Dion Bouton model Y 6HP from 1903/4. Wilson.

stuny Posted November 15, 2021 Share #16408 Posted November 15, 2021 I first thought of your beloved Alfa Guilietta Sprint, but the rear window seems a bit too small and the screen wipers park on the wrong side. Maybe a 356A?

Maybe a 356A? I think you might be correct. I have just spotted a fuel filler port in the wing. Wilson

a.j.z Posted November 16, 2021 Share #16414 Posted November 16, 2021 The car that is reflected on the door could be a C2. No idea about the other one.
stuny Posted November 16, 2021 Share #16415 Posted November 16, 2021 Andeas - Good eye, but if memory serves it was actually a C3 Indy pace Car model from 1973.

Hektor, the silver one in the background caught my interest even more 😉 Could it be a 1500 GS/Carrera? Can´t see from the distance.

Can´t see from the distance. Details a bit small but the wheels look right. Mind you I suspect there are a lot of pushrod cars now with Carrera wheels. The later 2L Carrera 2 and 904GT wheels are interesting with alloy rims fixed to a steel centre. Wilson

Can´t see from the distance. Good morning Rona!d. I doubt it. If it had been such a rare machine I probably would have taken its photo. In the fifties a friend of my father and a neighbour had a 356A Carrera in which I would go to "Lakeside" with him. It seems like a road-rocket to a teenage boy.
