I have now tried it out briefly, I had a few frames left on a roll of FP4 in my CL, film version. I was not sure if the Visoflex 2 would fit on the CL, whether it would clear the shutter speed dial? It did, but the mirror/shutter release arm does not line up, which is not a problem using it on a tripod. Viso on CL is an odd but fine look… ; btw, if you search on the Forum, there is the picture of a DIY remake of the shutter arm to fit the CL button ("cut and weld") as well as of the elusive/prototyped original CL-enabled arm…

sandro Posted December 4, 2018 Share #42 Posted December 4, 2018 I have a Visoflex II, a III and Micro Visoflex III. Once you have the routine to set it up it's great fun to work with it and use various lenses and lens heads, so I have become a fan. Lex Welcome, dear visitor! Michael Hiles Posted December 4, 2018 Share #43 Posted December 4, 2018 I have spent a happy photographic lifetime with the kit on the right – M2, Viso II, Bellows II and various lens heads (65mm to 135mm). Simply superb, not much progress from here. BTW – the rubber eye piece for my prism for the Viso II is wearing out. Does anyone know where I could find a replacement rubber eye piece? spydrxx Posted January 14, 2019 Share #47 Posted January 14, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a Visoflex setup I often use, either with a film body and the Visoflex, or DSLR or m4/3 body. I modified a Spiratone 400/6.3 to use with the Visoflex. After using three different Telyt 400/6.8 lenses, I found the Spiratone, although not as well coated, to be lighter and easier for me to use, and the results closely matched the Telyt. Susie Posted February 12, 2019 Share #48 Posted February 12, 2019 I just don't understand this. How can the children of Mgogo village find a Nikon DSLR more interesting than a 200/4 Telyt on a Viso 3? What is the world coming to? Welcome, dear visitor! Susie Posted February 13, 2019 Share #49 Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) It has been suggested that you may like to see what I was photographing in the image above! Here is a view of Isandlwana mountain from Mgogo in Zululand South Africa. It was a shame that the whole time we were up there the sun never shone on the mountain. Taken with the 200/4 Telyt with Viso 3 on an M9 Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! On the 22nd January 1879 it was from this point that Lt. Milne RN, who was Lord Chelmsford's ADC, looked back at Isandlwana after hearing reports that the Zulu army had attacked the British camp there. Due to the time of day and the haze, all looked normal. In just a few hours time 52 officers, 727 British regular soldiers, 133 Colonial troops and 342 Natal Native Contingent soldiers were dead along with up to 2000 Zulu warriors. Just beyond the ridge in the far distance is the town of Helpmaakar. The next set of hills towards us is the location of Rorke's Drift, which was attacked that afternoon. Susie Posted February 16, 2019 Share #50 Posted February 16, 2019 Here is another shot from the same point, again with the 200/4 Telyt. This one is hand-held and is not particularly sharp; I suspect some camera movement spoiled it. I am usually much happier with cameras on tripods. The one I used was on loan from a South Arican friend as I didn't have enough luggage weight allowance left to take one myself. Welcome, dear visitor! Just as an aside, does anyone know if the lens head of the 135mm Apo-Telyt can be fitted to a Visoflex in the same way as the Tele-Elmar? Dopaco Posted September 1, 2019 Share #55 Posted September 1, 2019 Hi, I bought this Visoflex III and tried it with M8 + Elmarit 90mm f4. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! I need a lot to learn, thanks to this forum and your help I hope to overcome this learning. Some tests I have done these days, which are not as good as those seen on the Internet, but I hope to improve them. I think the tripod he used is bad. Do you recommend one? .... Can the Leica ball joints go well? Any advice or support is appreciated and will be well received. a greeting
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! sandro Posted September 1, 2019 Share #56 Posted September 1, 2019 Hi, yes it seems that you need a stronger and much more stable tripod. You should also use a wire release on the Visoflex with a longer lens. Even when uou try to avoid any movement the release of the shutter will result in unsharpness, since your finger on the release button moves the whole setup. UliWer Posted September 1, 2019 Share #58 Posted September 1, 2019 ... even more weird: Telyt 1:4,5/20cm on TXBOO with M3 taken with Sonnar 1:2,8/18cm on Flektoskop and Amedeo-Adapter with M10:_ Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! The lower contrast of the Sonnar is caused by choosing f/2.8; for in the position I took the photo the unusual system had disturbing interior reflections at any smaller f-stop. Still seen here in the center of the frame. Usually the Sonnar - even fully opened - does show astonishing high contrast for a pre-war lens.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! The Apo-Telyt-M 135/3.4 has no detachable lens head sorry but the Elmarit-M 135/2.8 has one (pic) that can be used on the Visoflex 3 (never tried on V2) together with 16462 and 16474 adapters. The code number of the lens head alone is 11828. Otherwise there is a 135/2.8 lens dedicated to Visoflex, code 11827, having the same detachable head 11828. FWIW. Welcome, dear visitor!
