J.Nordvik Posted September 13, 2019 Share #85 Posted September 13, 2019 I forgot to turn off Live View before taking the picture with M10. That could explain why it is not perfectly sharp, but there is also not that big a difference between full frame M9/M8 18MP and M10 24MP. Is it comfortable to work with a vertical viewfinder?
J.Nordvik Posted September 14, 2019 Share #92 Posted September 14, 2019 Visoflex III. The viewfinder is from a Visoflex II, but I think they are the same for (late) II and III. I find it almost impossible to use this viewfinder. Very disorientating with everything upside down, and mirrored from left to right. Perfect for focusing though. Me resulta casi imposible usar este visor. Muy desorientador con todo al revés, y reflejado de izquierda a derecha. Perfecto para enfocar sin embargo. OK thank you very much. Dopaco Posted September 15, 2019 Share #94 Posted September 15, 2019 Hello: I have bid on an eBay auction for an Elmarit 135 F4, it is about to close and I have a good chance of being awarded it for € 99. In principle I want to practice with Leica M8. I have the Visoflex III. (with doubts if it works correctly). I also have tripods. What accessory should I add to be able to practice successfully? I want to use it in macros and long distances to see landscapes, birds, animals, etc. up close. The little that I have practiced with visoflex III + Elnarit 90 f4 and M8, I have managed to obtain a macro, I have not been able to obtain a landscape (it does not focus Infinity) and I have doubts if it is because of my little experience, or if visoflex III is defective or should I Add an adapter or tube. If it is a defect of Visoflex III, I am in time to return it. I await advice to get me out of this quagmire that I have gotten into. Always very grateful. Dao De Leitz Posted September 15, 2019 Share #96 Posted September 15, 2019 Hello everybody, have a nice and good day together! I've found it interesting and impressive so far (respectively until page 3) what was shown here at topic-related examples and pictures. Thread: Pictures of and with Visoflex lenses ... The combination of Visoflex lenses presentation and image result has its very special charm. It's not always easy to set up an interesting contribution that meets the criteria, but it does ensure special care in the selection of images. I like the underlying idea very much. I hope this will remain like this for the future.😉 I find therefore that more extensive technical questions should find place in an own thread/article. (FAQ about Visoflex or Questions and expert knowledge about Visoflex, ...) I hope the reasoning is convincing. I added a touch of contrast and sharpening, and I can say you nailed the focus for a beautiful shot.
