It is not easy to find colored E34 filters, for monochrome shooting. E37 are rare, too, but there are a very few available. I found a Heliopan 34-37mm step-up ring, the only one on offer, from a dealer in Germany, and ordered it. I am still uncertain whether I will add a Summaron-M 5,6/28, but have taken the first step.

They have... or can get all the heliopan range at lumière in Germany. I got an orange one from them, it took longer than I would have expected to arrive because although their site implies they have stock, it would seem that they don't always. Not in my case anyway. Still, no matter, I had to wait a few more days, so it's not really an issue unless you are in a hurry.

Heliopan makes a 34mm-to-39mm step-up ring, which makes things easier, as multi-coated 39mm colored filters are more available than 37mm.

Happy related news: I found my Summaron-M 3.5cm f/3.5 lens! I had misplaced it, and was afraid I may have lost it during an overnight trip to San Antonio, several months ago. I found it today, on a table with some of my Nikon equipment, where it was inside a small case among some small Nikon lenses and Tele-Converters, hiding in plain sight. 😊
