Little red dots on my SL2S images?

Anyone know what these little red dots are showing up on my SL2S images?

Looks like it is laser damage from an event I did a couple weeks back. 
 

Anyone ever send a SL to Leica to have the sensor replaced?

Yes, I had to replace my sensor in early 2022 after the camera had a hard fall onto concrete. IIRC it took about 2 months. I was able to negotiate a 'loaner' camera from them while it was being prepared (the dealer where I bought the camera got involved and helped to make that happen). Cost was approx. 1000 Eu or a bit less, do not recall exactly.

 Nah. It is too much. New sensor. Do ask for a loaner. Repair times run into months right now.

Laser damage...  If sent for repair, I think it might take a couple of months.

Everyone states Laser damage. Exactly how would that occur?  Surely the OP would remember someone shinning a laser into his view?

I went back 3 weeks and we found the exact time it happened. 

Leica LA is going to try to get me a loaner next week, they are being super helpful. 

Honestly the lasers were moving so fast we didn't notice. In Armenian we have a saying "you tricked the devil" basically it could have been worse like going blind. 

Live and learn, on to the next one.

What a drag...I am sure that cameras are very common at events like this...I wonder how many cameras those lasers have ruined...especially for people who might not know any better or be able to figure out what happened...
