This lens produces utterly unacceptable chromatic aberration on the Sony a7 platform. I did not have an SL, but I put my money down an SL2 after taking these images outside the store. I found the focusing to be easy. My only issue was with light leakage past the eyecup.

Actually, this thread is meant to showcase SL2 images as and when they become available,  just like all other camera-specific image threads, not for this kind of discussion. Please use or start appropriate threads for those. Further non-image posts ( posts commenting/critiquing those images will of course be allowed) will be deleted or moved without further notice.

I have cleaned up two pages of OT posts (i.e. about 40!) in this thread; you can  find your posts in new threads, some in an existing thread, some have been deleted.

Some were ever posted today.  Now please: IMAGES !

All other posts not relevant to this thread will be deleted without notice.

Maybe the mods might want to intervene again, please?

Very nice. I'm wondering, does the Face / Eye AF actually show a box around the eye this time or does it only show the face being selected?

No. Not from Leica. The box only include the face. You just have to trust the camera. On the flip side, what if the camera shows you it box The Eye but does not focus well?

Obviously, the compression for the LUF doesn't do these justice. This is with the SL 35 Summicron.
