To Somerset House today to see the exhibition 'English as a Second Language' by Hannah Moon & Joyce Ng.

Supposedly about fashion and photography as seen by two non-native residents in London. The biggest print, on the wall to the left, was a simple nude. I couldn't see any fashion, however hard I looked.

Many visitors to London will have taken their own version of this photo of the new roof at Kings Cross Station (it's mandatory for all photographers, along with the spiral staircase at the Tate Modern Art Gallery 😉). I have lots of shots of the scene taken on my way home after buying a new lens, most of which I have converted to mono. This is the latest, with the 11-23 zoom (not new - a couple of months old), at its widest end. Left in colour but processed a bit, as you might guess, to enhance the contrast and colour.

Thanks Louis, glad you enjoy them.  I myself would like a few days in your city, UK is cold wet and grey this time of the year,  grass is always greener on the other side😉.

As far as Rob goes, I did see him posting in the R lens thread on here a few days ago - seems he has been trying out one of the new Nikon mirrorless offerings with his lens collection and has recently been updating his website, I used his link and popped along to have a look - amazing stuff.  Hopefully he will be back here soon too.    Tritentrue (Rob) website link  http://www.robbenton.com/

Thank you for that link!

ALL photos are first imported to the iPad using a USBc card reader - very fast - but I'm very selective with the import - in the old days on the computer I just imported everything and did the selection later. Their first location is in Photos on the iPad - I then open Lightroom CC on the iPad and work through the images - processing or deleting as required. Whilst I'm doing that they're pushed up to the Adobe Cloud in the background (if I have a connection).

When I load CC on the computer, the images from the iPad are immediately available for editing - and originals are downloaded in the background to local storage.

I use CC for the editing (with occasional excursions to Photoshop) - the collections are, however, all available in Classic which I use for books and processing.

Then, when I get around to it, I delete the older DNG files from photos in the iPad - job done.

This, almost by natural selection, has kind of become something like my own work-flow.  It's very convenient to have everything in the Lightroom cloud.  By the time I get home I have already done much of the tweaking I need to on the iPad - with and without an Apple Pencil.  The I just move the files over to my dar disk, keyword and rename them and delete the ones I don't want synchronizing from the cloud.  My main collection still sits on a had disk at home and in the cloud I just keep those shots that I may want to work on or show people - these show up on the IPad and iPhone.  No more caring a computer around unless I expect to work on CAD files etc...
