Louis,

Shoot man, I see CL lined up and mentioned just like the other cameras on leica-camera.com.  Confused here:). The TL2 too for that matter. Here's what I see on https://leica-camera.com/en-US/photography

I'm also seeing the APS-C cameras to have been removed from some navigation links where you'd expect to see them.  The landing pages are still there, but some of the links taking you to the landing pages seem to have disappeared.

They are mentioned in another pages but not in lineup!.... Maybe we are getting a little too sensitive about this issue!.... The reason why we need some information to  plan our equipment! ... My previous post was a question, not an affirmation!

I'd love to have a digital Kodak Retina IIc... Such a sweet camera to shoot with! And the folder design is great for cycling ... folds flatter and protects the lens when I drop it into my cycling backpack.  :D

I'm in France , and I'm looking at the web page , I see that they have changed the design . In the apsc CL and TL still appear but the lenses longer appear . I suppose it's just momentary.

If you click on TL-Lenses, you will be able to select CL or TL cameras. At least the Shop Now button works for CL. For APO-Summicron 35mm the Shop Now button leads to 404.

The original Leica Barnack models sold in quadzillions and it's not surprising why -- there were capable, compact cameras.

Today, it's not that hard to produce a sophisticated technical powerhouse of a camera -- but usability and making it reasonably compact seem to be major challenges.

Well, more like 850,000± over 35 years ;)

Remember that Leica only reached S/N 1,000,000 during the M3/M2 production run (1960).

But we'll allow for poetic hyperbole.

Andy, I've said it a billion times, don't exaggerate! 😉

And yes, we need to beware of statistics because there are all sorts of other factors to consider -- relative cost and income levels over the decades, for example.

And yet, I reckon some things don't change and the desire for quality products that are simple to use and that endure, remain.
