How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Finished first leg of a 2 month trip.  Here is Murhut waterfall on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.  First shot is full frame and just because I have 47MP and a very sharp lens and because I can,  I cropped most of the photo to look at just the central portion of the waterfall.  Still amazed at what the Q2 can do.

I love this take on "street photograpnhy".  Great angle, and I am s sucker for good shadow shots.

Crab shell along the coast at Kalaloch on the Olympic Peninsula.  Macro mode and then a drastic crop just because I can. Hand held while dodging waves.  Focus point moved slightly from where I though it was between time I locked on and then took the photo.
