How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Thanks. Will try that later today. It is interesting why the 'red-effect' appears only on the nose area.

 

I'm not sure either, except that noses tend to be redder than the rest of the face, and digital sensors frequently have difficulty with red colors getting blown out. 

 

Depending on the editing software that you use, you may be able to desaturate and/or lighten the nose area locally and thus not affect the reds in rest of the image.

Exactly. I did the local desaturation for red and orange, and it works fine. I think you're right, the Q has tendency to oversaturate red and yellow, and unfortunately, the nose has more red compare to other parts of the face (especially for white folks).

Maroon Bells at sunrise. Aspen Colorado. Fall colors. Golden aspen. Settings: Shutter, 2 sec., f/16, ISO 100. On a tripod. Processed in Adobe LR. I honestly love using the Q. I would have enjoyed a little tighter focal length, but this was still a nice reflection shot of the mountains and scene in the lake. Along with I'd guess several hundred other photographers that morning.

 

Came back to look at this again.  I think I've been here but I can't believe I didn't take a picture, so perhaps not.  It's almost an obligatory shot :-)!

Love the night scene with the man under the street lamp.

 

The woman on the ramp turned away is also very captivating.

 

The boat cargo is hilarious! Nice job!
