How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Sorry but I had so much pleasure being out in the sunshine, in a place I love to shoot with a camera that I haven't had very long, that you get 2 shots!

(also M10 and CV35/1.7)

My trip to Porto in 2020 was cancelled because of covid, so it's great to see your images, a third would be most welcome.  New Leica cameras and lenses are fun to shoot, the first days are some of the best.

This place is 21km from Porto.

I recently had a trip back ‘home’ (sic - I’ve lived in Porto for 7 years now) then the UK put Portugal back on the amber list, my flight back got canned and I had to cut my trip short and rush back on the only available flight 🙄

I’ve had the CV35 for a while, but the m10 only for a month. 

I’m so far delighted with it, which is a relief, I’ve never spent that much on a camera before, (by a considerable margin) even buying it secondhand!

Not sure if you’ve been to Porto before..? But it’s a charming place.

One time I climbed up a rock to get a different angle to shoot the bridge and this elderly lady saw me from her window, and invited me into her home because the view of the bridge from her kitchen was great, and she didn’t want me perched on a rock risking life and limb! 
 

My Portuguese is somewhere between nonexistent and atrocious, she didn’t speak a word of English and we worked the whole thing out with facial expressions and pointing 😁

Like anyone needs to be asked twice! Thank you (again M10 + CV35/1.7 - I did have the 50 lux in the bag, but I don't like changing lens on the beach... besides it was a 35 day!)

This is the next little fishing village up the coast, about 5-6km - which was a lovely little walk - technically no longer Porto/Matosinhos, but Vila do Conde

I haven't been to Portugal, sadly.  My cancelled trip was going to be 7 days to see Lisbon, Coimbra, Sintal and Porto.  I can see by your pictures (thank you) that I will need to schedule many more days, the beaches look beautiful and as your story well illustrates the people I understand are very kind.
