How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

This was an experiment for me.

I took a few shots today in and around Apalachicola, Florida, and then I came home, developed the raw file, removed a couple of artifacts, applied a curves adjustment, resized the image to conform to the site’s size restrictions, exported to jpeg, and uploaded the image - all using Affinity Photo on an iPad. 

At some point I will report further in the appropriate forum on my experience with Affinity and the iPad, but I will say that at this point after only a few days use, I am extremely impressed with both the iPad and the app.

They are a long-running experiment at the local botanical garden.  I think they are intended to study what plants arrive by seed blowing in through the air, but I don't really know and only the study title is posted, no further explanation.  Don't they look weird?

just to give you the contrast.... i took this pic 4 month ago, meanwhile i went there about 4 times more, even at the afternoon today (about 20m below the other location).
It was rainy about 2 °C  bove zero , i was too late and i wanted to take THIS picture.  After all i got wet to the skin- but who cares. The cam is weathersealed 😀


I have used my flashlight to lighten the rocks, technically 36s, F10, ISO 100
