Tromso, Norway. Leica SL + 24-90mmSL I was extremely lucky to have experienced the Northern Lights. They were dancing all around us. Moonlight made it that much more spectacular, as the foreground was quite well lit. Moon was waxing gibbous 72% and had no significant effect on viewing Northern Lights.   Hello guest! Your night photos did not look at all noisy in comparison to the doom and gloom some have been spouting about the SL's low light performance. On this basis, it is going to be amazing for low light with the Noctilux. Roll on my delivery

This is almost a 100% crop .......

I really cannot fault this camera .... AF accuracy is almost 100% to date, exposure is usually spot on and WB seems fine

Reds need slight tweaking in LR as there is no profile.

Customisation is great and the control layout excellent once you get your own setup to suit your preferences.

these were 800 iso (12-20secs) and needed minimal NR ...... I fiddled about with WB and liked the deep blue in the sky rather than what should have probably been inky .... added a bit more atmosphere ..... star clarity on the full DNG's is remarkable ...
