rramesh Posted October 1, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2014 Isn't that what Bruce Willis used in the remake of The Day of the Jackel?
tobey bilek Posted October 1, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 1, 2014 This may be a "Franken build", but Novoflex did offer the focus mount shown for use with 400 and 560 lens head and perhaps their own heads. The Novoflex was a decent tele optically.

Adrian Lord Posted October 1, 2014 Share #8 Posted October 1, 2014 Isn't that what Bruce Willis used in the remake of The Day of the Jackel? I am horrified that anyone even thought the classic original needed remaking. It could not be bettered nor benefit from 'updating'. Certainly not by replacing the magnificent Edward Fox with Willis.
algrove Posted October 1, 2014 Share #9 Posted October 1, 2014 Nice storage area. Do you sled much anymore? Or fish? What's in the trunks? More Leica gear? HO railroading a hobby also?
Numbers Posted October 1, 2014 Share #10 Posted October 1, 2014 An impressive setup. I would love to see a picture from it as well. ..and I love the lens hand/shoulder grip - It almost makes the Leica M GPS grip seem elegant ;-)

LeicaPassion Posted October 2, 2014 Share #15 Posted October 2, 2014 Years ago I saw the Leica 800 mm R lens. It was huge and had a built - in handle.
Ecar Posted October 3, 2014 Share #16 Posted October 3, 2014 Can't wait to see pictures as well. Respectful suggestion to OP for new contraption project: build a dedicated dolly to move this thing around.
