Lovely tonality, Chris. It shows what a completely different film Tri-X is in 120 compared to 35mm.

Wow, just wow. I used to own a New Beetle Sport which obviously is a very different vehicle from the original but extremely fun to drive.

Here is the google street view link for Rua Nova in Pirenópolis. As well as various fuscas and kombis, just before the second crossroad there is another air-cooled VW, a station wagon, know as a "Brasília":

Hahaha, I am wondering if he may have gone slightly over board in taking the advice from The Game to stand out. Love that jacket though.

This is lovely John, including the colour cast which adds a genuine vintage feel. It goes to show that a roll of film and a 50mm lens is pretty much the only thing needed for instant photographic joy.

My dad bought a new one in 1971.  Not a split screen admittedly.  We had many happy holidays across Europe in it, in the days before budget airlines.  He owned it for over 20 years, and it was his pride and joy.  It's now long gone, just like my dear dad.  Here he is with it, when we both travelled to the 24hrs of Le Mans in 1983.  (with apologies for the quality of the scanned print, which would have been taken on my Nikon EM and 50 Ai lens). Happy days!

Thanks for those kind words Philip.  Yes, it brought back many happy memories!

The epitome of transparency! Which is more identifiable: what we see through the glass, or what is reflected in the glass? It's all green! I mean, Ga-r-e-e-e-e-e-n. The foreground in faint shadow--very painterly--but, overall, so Bauhaus, the architecture and your rendering. The cube, flat on, the hovering ellipse signage, and the Bauhaus inspired outdoor lamps. The contrast of green planting, the texture, against the cold precision of glass--artfully captured in your square composition MF. Bravo.
