Wow Xícara that print is magnificent! I know it wasn't your intention, and I hope you don't mind my saying, but it constitutes an object lesson in showing that there can be a world of difference between a more pedestrian shot and a picture that has been crafted to convey drama, mystery and intrigue - keeping in mind that both have in common the same subject material. Incredible work.

Thanks very much Phil! Took the black and white around Christmas time a year and half ago. Was having a drink with my wife at a pousada next door. The christmas decorations/lights of the pousada had been extended to cover the church and as darkness descended, it was time to get off my chair and take a photo. It's the wet season in December, so dramatic clouds. The colour photo was taken the other week. Dry season, no clouds. A pretty blue but boring in B&W! All the best!

Marvelous light but its the cyclist that captured my heart.

Seems I did something right this time :)

Thanks James. It is really quite a coincidence, when I saw your photo my first thought was that it has to be Münster. I may have shot that same underpass in 2012 but didn't manage to catch that glorious golden light that you so nicely shot. What do you think, is it the same one? I didn't realise it's the biking capital of Germany but I can definitely believe it. On the roll I shot that afternoon there are people cycling or walking with bikes on probably half of the frames :)

Military colors, headquarter for planning undercover action...  do I see some dark red fading  into black to the right ? No, not a political statement..

Funny story behind this photo. I realized that the second film roll on the new purchase Yashica FX-D/ 50mm  was not properly loaded into the camera. The film was not correct advanced so after a few captures I decided to reload the film into another camera body with other focal length: Olympus OM-2 / 28mm. I like some of the pictures taken this way especially this one.
