wlaidlaw Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14343 Posted January 13, 2021 TVR Griffith? Wilson
stuny Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14344 Posted January 13, 2021 I think not. The Griffiths (200 & 400) didn't have the bonnet line we see in Hektor's crop - Instead the entire front of the body (bonnet & wings) tilted forward. Other than that it certainly looks like a Griffith.
hektor Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14345 Posted January 13, 2021 Not from Blackpool. In fact not from the British Isles.
stuny Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14346 Posted January 13, 2021 With that slope to the bonnet, perhaps something from Porsche, Zagato or Abarth? Probably from between the late '50s and mid '60s

pippy Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14348 Posted January 13, 2021 (edited) It looks very like a Ferrari 400 Superast apart from the curvature of the front 'screen..... Hmm... Philip. Edited January 13, 2021 by pippy
Michael Hiles Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14349 Posted January 13, 2021 Looks to me like a mid-50s 300SLR.
Rona!d Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14350 Posted January 13, 2021 This has some OSCA and JWF, even Buckle flavor but sure is something completely different. I think I´ve seen this before but can´t name it spot on. Might be a larger engine, maybe even US in a kitcar (the front window might be a rear limousine window). Is it made of fibre? Also some italian flavor.

Rona!d Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14354 Posted January 13, 2021 Somehow it appears a bit "home made". Never been to their museum otherwise I would have known it from the front and side view. From the rear I would have known it - Scagliones favourite 😉
hektor Posted January 13, 2021 Share #14355 Posted January 13, 2021 Good morning Rona!d. There were only two coupés built, from which I would assume they were hand made ("home made"). Last time I went to the museum there was a room with many prototypes, and compared with production cars they were rough. 1
gmo Posted January 14, 2021 Share #14356 Posted January 14, 2021 Thanks Hektor, I'll go and search something to post later on today. What gave it away for me is the "bulge" under the doorsills. Gerd
gmo Posted January 14, 2021 Share #14357 Posted January 14, 2021 While looking for a new picture I already came across this one - made at the Alfa meeting in Zandvoort 2018. It shows the second one a bit more elegant under the doors Welcome, dear visitor!
