Can anyone tell me which model it is for. I used to have a M3 S/S, but why this one has bottom screw hole in center?

Thanks/John

I have all of them, including the very first to save the battery in a special case, 'cause you cannot switch off it.

Yes, this one has a side screw for the M3. Just slightly off topic, does anyone know where Leica ERCs were made, in the Leica factory or by external suppliers? I am mainly interested in the cases for the first 10 or 15 years after 1925 and the number of variations is quite large during that period with different materials, designs and stamping appearing all over the place and apparently at random. Did Leitz actually have a leather work department in the factory? I imagine that by the 1950s and 60s these things had become pretty standard, wherever the cases came from.
